Our happi app is helping people become healthier and happier. Users have found that it not only supports them in reducing stress but also helps them experience a deeper sense of well-being and transforms their perspective on life. Benefiting from a range of features, users can take a quiz to learn about their health and access additional support in one place, join a community sharing their well-being journeys, and engage with guided text and audio sessions to enhance their happiness. The app also offers daily recommended exercises, recipes, sleep audio, focus audio, and support for sexual health and relationships.

This app is designed for everyone, and we believe it can sprinkle a little extra happiness in your life. So, give it a download, and don’t forget to spread the joy by sharing it with your friends and family!

Happi is absolutely free to all Solutions 4 Health staff, download the app, click on the quiz and pop in the code s4h444, and then complete the quiz. You can even give this code to someone close to you, so they can access happi for free too!

Generally, the purpose of a Mental Health First Aider (MHFA) is to be a point of contact for employees if they are experiencing emotional distress or suffering in silence with mental health problems, such as stress, anxiety or depression, for example.

Mental Health First Aiders are trained to listen. They are trained to spot the early signs of mental ill-health in others. They are taught to confidently signpost someone to appropriate support, both internal and external, and they are equipped to deal with emergencies too – such as psychosis, thoughts of suicide, or attempted suicide.

It is important to note however – that MHFAs are not qualified therapists/counsellors/psychiatrists. They cannot advise, but they can listen and offer support options.

Your Solutions 4 Health Mental Health First Aiders are:

  • Julia Wales julia.wales@solutions4health.co.uk

If you would like to become a mental health first aider please contact HR@Solutions4Health.co.uk

Employers of health and social care workers are responsible for providing occupational flu vaccinations.

Solutions 4 Health staff are eligible for their Flu vaccination via their GP or Pharmacy with any costs incurred able to be claimed via monthly expenses.

If you are a display screen equipment (DSE) Solutions 4 Health will pay for an annual eye test to ensure your eyes get the right care they deserve.

If you require glasses for DSE use, the cost of glasses may also be claimed, up to a maximum cost of £80, if the prescription matches the requirements described on the Government H & S website.

You can claim this back through expenses.

Please remember! With your HSF membership you can also claim £35 (V1 scheme) towards the cost of consultation treatment for optical care.

An employer must provide glasses if the test shows an employee needs special glasses prescribed for the distance the screen is viewed. If an ordinary prescription is suitable employers do not have to pay for glasses.
